Creating Winning Cultures
As previous Head Coach at Wigan Warriors, Shaun provides insights into the passion and leadership skills necessary to steer a world class club to victory and how these insights can be translated into the business world.
Sharing his journey on and off the field, Shaun will highlight how his life experiences prepared him for his role at the Wigan Warriors and to his recent appointment of head coach for England.
By implementing fundamental methods and approaches and integrating them within every aspect of a business, Shaun will demonstrate how to enable continuous improvement, actualise tangible goals and empower a workforce.
Having originally signed for Wigan in 1982 as a player, Shaun made over 140 appearances for the club and featured in significant matches of the era, winning countless awards and trophies.
In 1999, Shaun re-joined the Wigan Rugby League Club on the coaching side firstly as a talent scout and later moving through the club to become Head Coach in 2011.
Under Shaun’s passionate and focused leadership, the Warriors have won every trophy currently available and were crowned 2017 World Club Champions.
